In January 2023, Optimism introduced the Attestation Station, an innovative platform designed to cultivate user reputation through verified attestations.

Clique was allocated 150,000 OP assets for distribution through two key initiatives—OP Army and OP Red Wars—aimed at educating users about the significance of verified and off-platform contributions through attestation.

Clique faced the intricate task of enlightening both users and platforms about the importance of verified attestations, fostering a collaborative and engaging environment.

This initiative involved the activation of over 30 partner platforms, enabling users to acknowledge their on-platform activities and relevant off-platform data, thus broadening the understanding and application of attestations.

Clique’s attestors allowed users to attest their various credentials into Optimism’s AttestationStation (later migrated to Optimism - EAS).

In this process, Clique issued attestations around the following datasets:

• Twitter Attestations (impressions generated and engagement with project)
• Github Attestations (Developer reputation based on commits, stars, and many more)
• On-platform financial attestations (including bridge, swap, lending, and trading activity with all our various partners)
